Jamia Library is really a treasure trove of Islamic Knowledge enriched with various books, periodicals and manuscripts along with internet facilities for the readers. Students and scholars flourish indulging themselves in this beautiful library day and night without any kind of interruption. The library has about 9 (nine) thousand books. thousands of periodicals and a competent Librarian. UK etc. These books are rare in collection but a lure to the scholars of the concerned fields.

6. Hifzul-Quran Plus course: General courses for Hafiz-e-Quran students:

It is a general practice in the states of eastern India that the youngsters should go for Hifz-ul-Quran and unlike other states they start their Hifz at the age of 10 or 11. It generally takes 3 to 4 years to complete the Hifz-ul-Quran courses and later on at the age of 13 or 14 most of those Huffaz go for very small business, or tailoring or jori/embroidery work etc. Some of them get admitted in Madrasahs for A'limiyat course. We have taken it with great importance.

Firstly, they will be taken to this 2yr secondary course (10th level) through an admission test. The beginning year starts with basic English, Mathematics & Vernaculars and after completing the 'foundation course' they go for 'bridge course' and in the last quarter of their first year they get ready for admission into class X (10th level).

Hence in next year students are sent to Mamoon National School, a govt. recognised School in the same campus, where they sit with other regular students in the same classroom on the same benches. Now students from two streams are mixed and compete each other to clear the Board Examination for 10th level. Generally they secure 75%-90% marks in the Board Exams and equally fight the mainstream students. Now they have options for Science or Humanities. We encourage them for Science stream because it is the only way to go for Medical, Para Medical or Engineering/ Diploma Engineering courses. But those, who opt for humanities are also free to get admission into Special 6 years, course of A'limiyat after passing +2 or higher secondary/inter level. And later, after A'limiyat they have nice options to go to Aligarh Muslim University for any courses in Arts Faculty or Humanities. Others who have opt for Science stream, they generally go for Engineering and a few for Medical (MBBS/BDS) Courses. It has become a golden opportunity for the Huffaz-e-Quran of the Eastern region of the Country.

7. Blind Section - Zohra Blind School:

They are no more neglected. They are more active than the sighted persons. They don't seek help from others to walk around the campus or to go the Jame Masjid at night or at the dawn. They are the blind boys of this Jamia some 25 students who learn Al-Quran through Braille system. Not only Arabic language, they learn English, Mathematics and Bengali (Vernacular) through the world's famous Braille system which was invented by Mr. Louis Brallie of France, Braille books are supplied to us free of cost by generous people and charitable organizations like (a) Madrassa-Al-Noor KwaZulu Natal, South Africa (b) Deeniyat Educational & Charitable Trust, Mumbai (c) Aligarh Muslim University, India (d) R.K. Mission (e) Al-Fitrah Foundation, Capetown, South Africa (f) Syed Abul Quasem Shamsuddin, UK etc. Blind students get free education, food and hostel facilities from the Jamia and their dresses, medicines and pocket money for personal expenses are also given from the Jamia Zakat fund regularly.

8. Shifa Khana/First Aid & Charitable Clinic :

It is a small venture of the Jamia where students get free bed and Medicine when they are sick or bed ridden due to common diseases of a tropical area. Some renowned physicians (Medicine, Orthopedic, Ophthalmology. Dentistry etc.) attend the Clinic as and when required. Some of them attend the clinic regularly once or twice in a fortnight.

9. Jamé Masjid (Grand Masjid : Masjid Muhammad):

A grand Masjid inside the campus is a centre of attraction in the area for salah and Eid prayers. This is the second biggest Masjid of the state which has capacity of 5000 musallis. A white colour beautiful and high minerate is symbolising the Tawheed of Allah swt and the inside view with big chandeliers attract people from far places for salah specially Friday prayers.

We pray to Allah swt for the donors and well wishers for their well being and success, peace and prosperity, here and here after. Aameen.
